In order to increase demand in newly launched markets, our small but mighty creative team launched a brand awareness campaign. Below are several brand awareness campaigns, I had the pleasure to work on during my time at Getaround.
Getaround launched in two brand new markets in 2017, New Jersey and Boston. In order to increase awareness and ultimately demand, it was decided to push a brand campaign with the main objective of increase awareness and create the first introduction of who Getaround is. Out of Home campaign focusing on a larger buy, consisting of video, multiple ad spots, and transit ads that will be displayed on buses, train platforms and within trains. This campaign ran in the summer of 2017 in Washington D.C., New Jersey and Boston.
Getaround was faced with a demand and brand awareness challenge in new and existing markets. In order to increase awareness and ultimately demand, it was decided to push a brand campaign with the main objective of increase awareness. Out of Home campaign focusing on transit ads that will be displayed on buses, train platforms and within trains in San Francisco and Washington D.C. This campaign ran in the summer of 2016.
The visual expression of the campaign focuses on the heavily on the copy and message with illustrations as a supporting element. A mix of aspirational and direct messaging in order to target existing and new customers. Three different designs were created to support the various messages and mediums. The idea of traveling from city to the outdoors was illustrated throughout the ads.
The campaign lead to an increase in sign ups by 61% and 21% of rentals booked.
